The Structure in Multimedia Server System

Ontimetek’s multimedia streaming service products are categorized by the system beneath.

	Encoding Server: (Non) Real time Encoding ((RTE™)
	- Encoding server decodes the multimedia data, and is able to compress and edit for streaming service.
	Multimedia Streaming Distribution Server (MSS™)
	- Transmitting the compressed files by encoding process through the network, and also allows the clients’ access, gives the multimedia data which the client requires in real time.
	Admin Server : system management and billing creation /gearing
	Storage : content storing, billing information creation , producing service log.
	- The storage where the compressed / edited data by Encoder is being stored.
	Client
	- IMT-2000 simplex/interactive mobile communication, mobile/cell-phone, PDA, lap-top, desk-top.

Mobilighter™, the Ontimetek’s multimedia authoring tool is moving picture editing tool which the TIMELINE editor and OTT’s compressing algorism has combined. Mobilighter™ has Import function on diverse types of formatted moving picture file and superb editing function, and will be used when contents providers want to edit, encode, upload the contents to multimedia server.

	AUDIO
	- Follows ISO/IEC 14496-3 standard, and supplies ITU-T G.723.1 & EVRC Codec, MPEG4 Standard AAC L/C(Low Complexity) both 2 channel for the streaming service. - Supplies AAC Audio’s diverse sampling rate - Supplies ADTS(Audio Data Transfer Streaming-streaming service)as AAC’s file format.
